So I did a thing – I set up my own store where you can buy books direct from me!
I gotta say, it was a lot of work. Spending all that time in front of the computer made my brain hurt. I tried to offer my brain ibuprofen to soothe its achy cells, but it said, “No way, lady. I need stronger medicine than that!”
So I gave it some very special pills, the kind that come in colorful candy coating and are filled with chocolate. That’s right – M&M’S to the rescue! My brain was happy, I was happy, my stomach was happy . . . everybody was happy.
Why Did You Set Up A Store?
That’s a great question! I’m glad you asked. Well, here’s the thing – Amazon likes to randomly shut down author accounts for no reason. I’ve seen this happen to several people I know, and it’s just devastating. Some of them have been able to get their accounts back, others haven’t fared as well.
So, like many other authors as of late, I decided to set up a sales channel that I have 100% complete over.
Okay, What Else Can You Tell Me About It?
Here’s what you need to know about my store – it’s:
- Safe – my store is powered by Shopify. I see zero payment info and Shopify’s security is top-notch.
- Instant – your ebooks are delivered immediately by trusted author partner BookFunnel.
- Easy – you can read the books you buy from me on any ereader device or on your computer.
- Convenient – all my books are in one place and I have a reading order document on my site.
Some things to note:
- I will continue to sell my books on all the usual retailers – Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, and Google Play. That won’t be changing.
- My store is ebook and US only right now. I’ll be offering paperback / large print books, as well as adding other markets in the next month or so.

Just a word of warning – this book has a light paranormal element, namely a talking chameleon who’s snarky as all heck. There aren’t any witches or ghosts or anything like that – just the talking reptile – but I wanted to flag it up because I know that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
